Andreja and Justin wanted to throw a really great party for their family and friends who came out to Canmore for their wedding. A while back, they’d seen Hey Romeo play at a Christmas party they’d attended. They knew this band had to be part of their wedding plans. They made it happen and sure enough the band made for a pretty decent party up at Silvertip. It was so evident throughout the entire day how perfect Andreja and Justin are for each other. Warm fuzzies were in abundance on their wedding day…these two were just so darn excited to get married.

Claire’s photo. As I was catching the last bit of the recesional, she raced down to the end of the aisle and grabbed this. To me, this image sums up their entire day. I don’t even know if we’re going to have an aisle at our wedding, but if we do, I want a photo like this one!

Shannon+Martin [[ Banff Elopement Photography ]]

Martin, an Aussie, first met Shannon in 1997 when he was on a trip to Canada. They dated for a short while, but eventually went their seperate ways, promising to stay in touch. Sometime last year, they reconnected once again. Finally, while on a cross-Canada camping trip this summer they decided to stop off in Banff for a couple days and have a nice little sunset wedding down at Two-Jack Lake. I hope the last leg of your little roadtrip was fantastic!

Morning! I have resurfaced from yet another marathon weekend. I think I pretty much saw it all throughout my photo travels in the past few days - thunder and lightning and pouring rain; sunny skies and 32 degrees; snow on the mountain tops and frost on the ground; rush hour city traffic, grassy prairies and Rocky Mountains; bears and moose and rainbows…really, just another average August weekend in Alberta, I suppose.
